Welcome to Active8Kids! Originally founded in Vaucluse in 2013; we proudly opened our new facility in Bondi Junction in November 2022.
Our mission is to provide girls and boys aged 0-12 with the opportunity to play, learn and gain confidence through classes that combine Gymnastics, Ninja Warrior and Parkour techniques!
Our team of qualified coaches are dedicated to consistency providing a safe and nurturing environment for children of all abilities.

Nick Tredler
Director & Owner
Nick has been Coaching for over 30 years on different continents in a range of sports and educational environments.
Nick has an Honours Degree in Physical Education with QTS, with a wide variety of multiple sports accreditations which includes, Gymnastics, Trampolining and Rock Climbing.
Nick is the Owner and Director of Kickeroos, SheKicks and Active8Kids and his specialism is writing programs for children in an inclusive, fun and challenging environment.
Lucy Saunders
Gym Manager
Lucy started coaching aged 12 as a young helper in England. She then followed the coaching pathway and attained her UKCC Artistic Gymnastics and Judging qualifications.
Lucy has many years experience and expertise across an array of disciplines including Kindy, Recreational, Artistic, Freestyle and Adult gymnastics.
Lucy has managed other gymnastics clubs and is looking forward to collaborating with Active8Kids.
Emily McConaghy
Recreational Coach
Emily grew up doing gymnastics her whole life, providing her with lots of experience she can bring into my coaching. 8 years ago she started training to become a coach and have since coached and taken gymnasts to local, state and national competitions.
In addition, Emily is currently completing her degree in sport and exercise science at UTS. This degree has elevated her coaching and has provided her with further knowledge to integrate into her gymnastics teaching.
Alessi
Recreational Coach
Alessi has been working as an intermediate gymnastics coach for the past 3 years and has recently become an intermediate judge in 2022.
Gymnastics has always been her passion from a very young age and was always climbing and swinging on things, leading her to then joining gymnastics at her school and competing for 4 years.
Now as a coach her aim is to inspire and pass on her passion for gymnastics, always wanting to make a fun and inspiring learning environment for everyone!
