

GYMNASTICS

















These classes focus solely on the skills and techniques associated with Gymnastics. Our Gymnastics program will teach the basics for those that are new to the discipline, as well as progress further those that are more advanced. We will work on improving strength, coordination, flexibility, balance, agility, confidence, and social skills for children of all ages and abilities.
Levels 1–2
These levels are for complete beginners and introduce basic gymnastics movements. Gymnasts practice rolls, jumps, hops, and simple balances on the floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampette. The goal is to help them become familiar with moving their bodies safely and confidently while learning fundamental shapes and positions.

Levels 3–4
Levels 3 and 4 are for gymnasts who have mastered the basics and are ready for slightly more challenging skills. Floor work includes handstands, bridges, and backward rolls. Beam skills focus on walking, tiptoe balance, and simple dismounts, while bars introduce pullovers and forward circles. Vault and trampette develop controlled jumps and landings, building awareness and coordination.
Levels 5–6 (Intermediate)
These levels are for gymnasts ready to progress beyond beginner skills. Floor work includes cartwheels, roundoffs, and handstand variations. Beam challenges include turns, jumps, and mounts, while bars focus on back hip circles and pullovers. Vault and trampette introduce straddle-throughs, dive rolls, and stronger landings, helping gymnasts link movements more confidently.
Levels 7–8 (Intermediate)
Levels 7 and 8 prepare gymnasts for advanced and more dynamic elements. Floor skills include handstand walking, roundoffs, leaps, and back handsprings. Beam work involves leaps, handstands, and spins. Bars focus on pullovers, swings, and controlled transitions. Vault and trampette introduce more complex and jumps and somersaults, emphasing precision and timing.
Advanced
The Advanced class is for gymnasts ready to learn more complex skills. Floor includes back handsprings, roundoff back handsprings, tucked back somersaults, aerials, and front handsprings. Beam covers forward and backward walkovers, split jumps, and full spins. Bars include sole circles, float upstarts, and mill swings, while vault features full handsprings and half-on/half-off variations. Trampette includes pike and straight fronts, as well as baranis. This class focuses on power, technique, and control.
