At Active8Kids we combine Gymnastics, Ninja Warrior and Parkour. At the heart of our program is an opportunity for all participants to play, learn and gain confidence in their ability to use their bodies in an inclusive and nurturing environment. All of our coaches are professionals in Physical Education, Gymnastics and Sports Coaching.

We encourage all participants to be courageous as they gain confidence in using their bodies to accomplish various skills and techniques related to Gymnastics, Ninja Warrior and Parkour.

 

We teach core gymnastics techniques such as; forward / backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands and Round offs, with progressions that lead to tumbling. We teach all participants how to use single bars, parallel bars and rings.

 

We teach strength and core stability and use Monkey Bars and NINJA WARRIOR equipment for climbing and swinging. We also teach how to negotiate obstacles and create FLOW with their movement. We enable participants to gain confidence in their own ability whilst having FUN and gaining fitness and strength.

 

Our state of the art facility in Bondi Junction provides an environment that is light and open with lots of space.

Sessions have been designed to enable your child to develop their sense of balance, co-ordination and agility.

 

With parent participation, these tasks are designed to challenge your child's physical and cognitive skills. Your child will learn to take more risks, but to do so safely.

Classes end and start with a warm up using music and the apparatus. 

 

Whilst our first focus is fun, the children will learn the basics of rolling, handstands, climbing, co-ordination, balance, jumping, strength and flexibility.

 

Less parent participation, we encourage your child to be independent.

Sessions are now focused on even more challenging exercises.

We still keep everything FUN, but we encourage each child to continue the progressions of rolling, handstands, vaulting and climbing. Each session will develop their core strength and flexibility.

Sessions are now focused on even more challenging exercises with the use of higher pieces of equipment.

 

As your child gains more confidence the tasks are designed to further develop their co-ordination, body awareness and control. If kids are enjoying what they are doing, they are more likely to do it again and again.

Designed for children who want to have fun and develop fitness. We teach flips and somersaults as well as the core skills used in Gymnastics / Ninja Warrior and Parkour.

 

Our program is challenging, SAFE and progressive. It includes strength, flexibility and movement patterns vital to the flow and transition of obstacles.

The NINJA WARRIOR program is for our older kids, up to the age of 15. This program fully explores the sport of Ninja and Parkour.

We focus on all of the elements, which includes balance and agility, climbing and grip strength and how to connect the flow of the obstacles.
